At Wayne Village Pottery, that lovely stuff known as Maine “blue” clay is dug out of our back field. The early redware potters also used this kind of clay, and we enjoy following their tradition of creating handmade pottery which is useful, affordable and decorative. 

Bluebirds are a traditional symbol of happiness; that exhilarating flash of blue is one of the earliest signs of spring. Loss of habitat & competition with other birds has caused a decline in certain areas, but they are beginning to make a comeback. We can all help by putting out bluebird houses.

Ornament comes with ribbon or wire for hanging. Each ornament is crafted by hand. Because of this, no two are exactly alike.
